We wanted to thank all at Yarrabee for the most amazing stay in the Seychelles. It was our first trip to Mahe and we were bowled over with the beauty of the place and how wonderful the accommodation at Yarrabee was.

The view from the balcony was just wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed watching the sun set directly in front of us every evening. The studio itself was a brilliant size and immaculately clean. We really appreciated your gesture Günter of having a few essentials in the kitchen already, it made self catering very easy. The air conditioning was a much appreciated extra and the studio and balcony felt very private.
There certainly was not the crowded feeling that you can get in hotels. The sea swirled around the rocks in front of us continuously and we whiled away many hours enjoying the view and peace and quiet of where we were. We definitely felt that hiring a car was essential to fully appreciate the island. No matter where you stay, you need a car to have the flexibility to access all sorts of hidden beaches and coves over the island.
The proximity to Beau Vallon was great and something which we noticed we would not get had we stayed in many other areas around the island. The location was excellent.
Overall, we loved it. Thank you. We hope to come back again some time.

Con un gruppo di 8 persone tra figli grandi e amici, abbiamo trascorso 11 notti allo Yarrabee in agosto 2012. La casa con tre camere da letto, è molto spaziosa , ci sono infatti 3 camere, 3 bagni , un’ulteriore doccia esterna con acqua calda , 2 fornelli dove cucinare , tre lavandini , lavanderia con lavatrice e stendi biancheria ed anche 2 ampie verande esterne da dove si può vedere un bellissimo tramonto. Quindi lo spazio non è mancato. A parte questo , ci siamo trovati molto bene anche con il proprietario , che ci ha offerto il box dove ricoverare l’auto. La casa si trova a 50mt. dalla fermata dell’autobus e dal negozio di alimentari ed altri generi per la spesa quotidiana. Le spiaggie piu vicine anch’esse a 50 mt. , piccole carine e per nulla affollate. Lo consiglio a gruppi numerosi.

Ich möchte mich nochmals bei Ihnen für die schöne Zeit, die wir in Ihrem Haus auf Mahe Ende Juli verbracht haben, bedanken. Ich habe schon im Flughafen Mahe für Ihr Haus Werbung gemacht und fleißig Ihre Visitenkarten verteilt. Ich bin mir auch sicher, dass wir uns mal wieder sehen werden. Ich möchte Ihnen ein schönes Foto von Ihrem Balkon zusenden. Ich fand dieses Foto besonders schön. P.S. Ich liebe Ihre Dusche draußen auf der Terrasse.

On a passé un mois chez Gunter a Yarrabee l’année dernière. La pension est proche d’une petite plage sauvage pas mal du tout et de la plage de Sunset Beach. Il y a un arret de bus a proximité pour Beau Vallon et Victoria. Les proprio sont super sympa et ses employés nous donnaient des fruits tous les jours. Les studios sont propres et bien equipés. La terrasse avec la vue sur la mer est superbe… un mois de coucher de soleil tous les soirs… c’etait top!

Apartments are just off the road, but you won’t hear the cars as there is ocean on the other side. House is built over small rocky cove with excellent views of the sea and island Silhouette. A perfect spot for watching the sunset…
There are some shops close, some small beaches and the bus stop just some meters away…Owners also speak French.

Ek kom van Suid Afrika en ek kan die plek aanbeveel. Daar is dingetjies wat pla maar ag dit is so min dat dit eintlik nie saak maak nie. Baie naby is daar riwwe om te snorkel en kan jy meeste vissies sien. Daar is `n lekker buitebraai en indien jy vakuumverpakte vleis saamneem wat jy vries voor jy gaan kan jy `n lekker egte wors en tjops braai !!

Thank you again for your hospitality during our stay in the Seychelles. Like I mentioned in my original inquiry, I had long dreamed of visiting the Seychelles since I read about the islands in a copy of National Geographic Magazine. Of course with the hotels being so expensive, I thought my vacation may be out of reach, since I couldn’t afford 400+ Euros per night… I am so glad I found the link for Yarrabee on the www.airseychelles.com website. I thought the accommodations and location of Yarrabee was superb.
Although we visited every corner of the island during our stay, I didn’t see any other self catering or hotel where I would have rather stayed! The website descriptions doesn’t do the actual amenities of the Yarrabee justice! I was delighted to find the beach was only a minute walk away, the bus stop was virtually right in front of the door, and the mini market within two minutes walking! Everything we needed for a vacation of a lifetime on a shoestring budget!
So here I am, home, after a week of paradise, and I am dreaming of being back on the balcony of Yarrabee Studio South, overlooking the beautiful water, and granite boulders… and I am looking forward to my next visit already! As we discussed, I am researching internally how to promote the Yarrabee to Lufthansa Colleagues who would like to vacation in the Seychelles – on a budget, but still enjoy the luxuries of a full service hotel!

Io sono stata in questo self catering per 2 settimane…è veramente un posto fantastico. La terrazza che dal sul mare non me la dimenticherò mai. E’molto pulito ed è in una posizione ottima. Lo consiglio a tutti.
